Yeah, you can do a lot for your music collection by not allowing it to ever leave your listening room. That's about the only way I can keep the dics and cases in prestine shape.

As for cars, seems that in-dash DVD-V players are being coming more common, along with DVD portable "discmans". Those should be able to play the DTS or DD layer on a DVD-A, no? Seems that everyone my age (25 or under) would want one of those. Some might even have DVD-A (for 24/192 MLP), but for these people DD or DTS would be enough (mp3 raised). Maybe usafwso is underestimating the rate in which dvd-v players are replacing cd players? Of course, I'm going out on a limb here.
