... you might be way better off going with "earspeakers" instead of headphones. I love my AKG K1000 earspeakers but they are no longer being made. Stax sells a line of electrostatic earspeakers and Oskar Heil ERGO AMT ("air motion transformer") earspeakers are still being sold.
