I have used my Senn hd650 with my H-K avr 510, and H-K 7200 and while they sound alright, I bought Project Ember headphone amp and it made all the difference. Using a Bugle Boy 12AX7 tube, it is really a great sound. The nice thing about a tube amp, is as the volume turns up, it just doesn'
t get louder, it gets a more full sound to the music. The 650's won't disappoint. Great headphone.
