I'm sure this has come up before. I have a pre-amp for my turntable, and I'm thinking of spending about $300.00 for a pair of headphones. I read that if I buy noise-canceling headphones I don't need a headphone amp for my Harmon Kardon 3380 receiver.I'm not sure if this is the best way for me to go. If I don't buy those kind of headphones should I buy a headphone amp, and if so which one?
Also, do I connect a headphone amp to the headphone outlet on the front of my receiver?
Thanks,
Randy
