Hello and thanks i did not know.
My rambling was about also nice headphones that have very low quality connections.
An example to follow instead in the picture.
Maybe i am exaggerating the issue but i think that more care on this aspect could make even mid price headphones sounding quite better.
I would prefer a good connection on each side like in the picture.
I had a old sennheiser built this way, but the quality of connections were ridiculous. What a pity because the sound was quite good indeed.
I think it was the HD565 Ovation ?
I am sure a little more care in this department would have been beneficial.
I think that a good quad mic cable could be an excellent headphone cable indeed

and the price is almost nothing.
Actually i was thinking to some diy mods even ...
