Hello,
sorry for the lamentation ... but i noticed that headphone cables and also connectors between cable and drives often are extremely poorly built.
Why is that ?
Not so for Grado i would say ... quite thick and good.
I have the feeling maybe wrong that the quality of cable is very influencing the overall sound.
I made a cord extension with a mic cable from Canare and Neutrik connectors and it was superb, for very little money compared to the price of medium quality headphones.
I appreciate instead the AKG solution of removable cable with good quality connector.
It is that easy ... why they do not do this ???
A simple XLR cable would do the trick in a sublime way ...
Kind regards,
bg
