when I bought my 80's 10 yrs or so ago, I auditioned the 60/80 back to back for a while. I liked the 80 better, more bass, etc. I considered that it was worth the price, which is about 1 cd in price. Where else can you spend $20 and hear much diff? You may have those a long time, like I have. I replaced the foam once, and bought an extension cord. I also now have other headphones in same price range and up, but I still listen to the Grados as much as any. Now, in the mail today, there's a hifiman 400 being shipped. I'm hoping that'll be a whole new ballgame.
