Headphone jack on power amplifier?

I'm curious to know if the headphone jack on my Technics SE-A5 power amp is feeded by the power amp section itself or uses a cheap op-amp.
How is it possible to know?
Just tried it for the first time ( I have new neighbours :( ) and it sounds great, but I'm just curious...
