At the upper end of your price range you might look at the Sennheiser HD25-1 II Closed-Back headphones. They sit on ear, but I think you'll find the cushion better than the foam on the Grado. I quite liked the clarity and dynamics on these, but only a brief listen at the office.
The SkullCandy Aviator is quite nice. I find these to be warm & satisfying and also to be very comfortable. Very easy to listen to and looks like they can be had for around $90 depending on vendor. Really think I could wear these for long periods of time. I'm uncertain if you'll find these too relaxed, however.
The Creative Aurvana Live! headphones are in a similar price bracket as the Aviators and they frequently get good recommendations, but I've not had the pleasure of hearing them.
Also please note that the models that are comfortable for me may fit you differently. There are so many choices in this price range!
