Our January 20th meeting will feature summaries of what we saw and heard at the CES and THE Expo, along with showing a raft of literature we pick up (we'll also play some new music we pick up at the show). Rick Diekman, president of Controlled Thermal Processing, will explain and demonstrate cryogenically treated cabling, CDs, and components against untreated ones, so you'll be able to judge for yourself if there's a difference, and if so, whether it's worthwhile. We anticipate good attendance and look forward to another exciting year.
There's no obligation to join, and your first meeting is free. We meet monthly year round to audition and discuss music and audio in a relaxed, friendly environment. It's a great way to meet other enthusiasts.
Meetings go from 2pm to around 5pm, with a break with refreshments about halfway through. We meet at the Dance Building in downtown Des Plaines, easy to get to by car or public transportation. Visit our web site for details.
