Waveguides versus horns

Welcome to the marketplace, and to the Asylum!

Could you tell me what, in your mind, distinguishes a waveguide from a horn? Most of the speakers I'm aware of using waveguides (Amphion, SP) feature smaller-scale devices than yours. At what point does it become a horn? Or is the difference one of approach or profile, rather than size?

Both devices seem to be acoustical transformers. I'll be interested in hearing your take on this.
