Need some setup suggestions... if anyone is around..

Dear All,

I would become a CS2 user very soon.. still waiting for shipment. I am so excited! I am wondering for all you veterans out there, can you comment a bit on my setup? What to move or where to improve?

It would be pushed by a power5 icepower amp from NHT at the moment for the bass part. Not sure about the midrange/tweeter yet. Could be a T-amp or Icepower or tube amp. I really have not decide yet.

I may have a PC with USB transport direct into the DAC of the behringer, or a pc with a KECES dac to a preamp to the behringer.

(attached normal listening)

The setup is rather rigid due to my better half is very particular about the space usage of the living room...... So I have two setups, one is for normal listening, another for serious listening.

For serious listening, obviously I have to move the speakers out.

One other question is, any kind suggestion for easier moving on the CS2? Wheels is not allowed as Clayton says it would greatly degrade the sound quality. Anyone has done something to their speakers so it could move around easier?

I am wondering, is it recommendable to do the following:
First place the CS2, via spikes, on a slab of marble stone slab.
Then, the marble stone has felt pads adhered underneath
Finally the felt pads on the wooden floor.

Would the slightly slippery nature of felt pads have the same negative effect on the speakers just like the wheels? Ideally I wish the speakers can glide in and out of the wall.. but that's just a wish....

Sorry that's alot of info and I apologize for the boring reading.

Thanks!!

KK
