Hi Victor,

I just spent a couple of evenings assembling it, so of COURSE it's going to sound great. ;-)

It strikes me as the sort of product that could only come from Japan: Relatively inexpensive, yet perfectionist in it's own quiet way. No precious metals or designer parts to be seen, and the front panel is totally blank. Yet the fit and finish are great: All screw holes line up perfectly, and all of the areas where a person's fingers might touch the front panel have been ground smooth. I even like the spring clips used for speaker connections, a jumbo-sized thing that has no problems holding onto tinned 14 gauge wire. When I first saw it, I thought I'd be immediately replacing it with binding posts, but now I'm not so sure.

Brighter-sounding than my usual 300b monoblocks, with no really low bass, but it sounds punchy and entertaining. It gets louder than I would have expected given it's power rating, becoming a bit rougher around the edges and "shouty" when pushed harder.
