Discriminator IF Transformer Woes

I've got an FM-3 with a broken slug in the discriminator transformer. The slug is cracked lengthwise so when you attempt to turn it, it expands and the adjustment tool just spins in the hex.
Is there any way to repair these, or a source for a replacement discriminator???
