Stock PAS Loading




Below is a link to the full Audio Regenesis PAS line-stage testing. You experiencing bass shyness seems to correlate to the graph above, so you're on the right track regarding your MK-III 150K loading causing bass roll-off. Note that this assumes your tone controls are still in the circuit.

To test this, note where it says to remove the 510K resistor (just disconnect one leg for the experiment) from the PAS output jack, which will allow the PAS to drive a 250K power amp load. This won't be ideal for your 150K load, but it should be a step in the right direction with regard to bass.

If bass improves, then you'll have to calculate the proper values to change the 62K and 510K to, to optimize for your MK-III 150K load.
