Dynaco ST70 with ONE channel distortion

Happy New year everyone.

It's me again.

My ST70 has a reasonable amount of distortion in ONE channel only. I have verified that it is the amp and nothing before nor the speakers either.

I have switched the obvious tubes from one channel to another and the distortion did NOT switch channels.

I am NOT an electronics guy - but I am capable of replacing a component but do not have anything with which to test ANYTHING with.

So..... is there an obvious solution

Or ....... any recommendations as to where I should send the amp for repair?
