RE: Too much bass in my PAS3-X

You mentioned "upgrade." Were there ANY circuit changes other than deleting tone controls (already covered by another member, THANKS)? There is one Stupid Bozo Modification out there that inserts a big low frequency pole into the response. It loosens up the bass and makes it sloppy, flabby. I forget who did it but I see it pop up now and again on the audio forums. Combined with the power supply "upgrades" in the same modification, it could even cause low frequency oscillation.
