I'm actually much happier with my Horn Shoppe Horns than I was with my Dahlquist DQ-10's. They are more dynamic, more "musical" and much easier to drive. They certainly aren't as "audiophile", in as much as the Horns don't image as well as the DQ-10's. But any live music event I've ever gone to, there was no "imaging".

I don't know if your ST-70 has been in service lately, but be sure and pay attention to the power supply. If the quad capacitor is original, replace it, or risk taking out a transformer!
