Opinions (mod/restore or not) ST-70 PAS3

I have recently received an ST-70 and PAS3 (My first tube stereo). I would love to mod/restore them, but I’m wondering if I should do so being that the two pieces are in perfect shape, all factory components, and have the original boxes. I really like the stereo but I don’t know if I should mod such a nice stereo. So I guess I’m looking for the opinion of people in the field. Would you alter the stereo or hold on to it in the condition it’s in?
Also does anyone know the market for Dynacos? Will the value of these continue to go up?
