I have a fixed bias amp that I tried the Hazen mod as questioned in a past posting. I also read about it on the Decware website so I thought I'd give it a try. I have a pair of monoblocks here so I tried it to one. No sound, no bias reading, no nothing. I have 400VDC on the plate and screen. I have -34VDC on pin 5 but when I went to recheck the bias of the amp there was no voltage across a 10R resistor. I then emailed Steve Deckert over at Decware and he said it will not work with fixed bias amp. It has to be cathode biased.

Just wanted to give an update top that last posting.
