I'd like to know why 'the sacd people' should or are 'quivering in their boots' about... Are ZS KEKL and Frank going door to door with machetes removing one limb for a CE775, both arms for an XA777ES and a head for an SCD-1?
There were some cutbacks announced at Sony... But there have been cutbacks announced at Warner, too, but I guess that's OK because, um, well, something about there being a 'value-add' (What does a value-add look like, is it blue?) ...
I've got the Peter Gabriel SACDs on order, and 'America Town'; I'm looking forward to those, but, I haven't really seen any significant DVD-A releases coming down the line... I picked up Yes 'Magnification' the other day as well as 'Fragile' but those have been out for a while... Now, again, I've got five pre-orders on SACD but, again, there just isn't anything firm coming out on DVD-A: but somehow this marks the success of DVD-A? ... um. Allrighty.
This whole flipper disc fiasco is just crazy... But, again, you guys have reshaped it it into some form of success... Can't wait to play really thick discs. That'll just be super. I can't wait to see 16 year old kids trying to figure out which side is which.
Doesn't matter. All anyone under 30 wants is 'interviews with the band' and 'music videos' anyways. And since SACD can't offer that, yeah, it's dead. Me, being 23 and part of the MTV generation, it's really unfortunate that I can't listen to music without video to go along with it. I can't help it, I was born that way. :(
Anyhow, congratulations on your victory --- we can all go home now, right? I suppose we're done here?
