DVD VS CD Player

New DVD-Audio music releases and talk about the latest players.

I'm looking for a used cd player to play my CD's on that matches my vintage audio equipment (silver)I have not been able to find a silver CD player that meets my budget ($100) but have found lots of DVD player on Ebay that do.
Is the audio quality of a DVD player as good? Any brand recommendations?
