I had a Rotel DVD-A player and separate SACD player at one point hooked into my system via a Sony TA-P9000ES multi-channel pre. I sold it for nearly double what I paid as it is no longer in production. It allowed the setting of channel levels in the analog domain too. If that is not out of your price range and you can find one that would be nice. Zektor makes a video/5.1 switch. I've read somewhere that Mono Price might have a usable one too.
