I never really liked DVD-As (on Denon 3910 and Esoterics) and always preferred regular DVD-Rs with hi-rez contents but the rips sound really good in Adobe Audition.

One thing in particular that I have noticed by accident when I ripped the multichannel mix is that listening to just one channel (in mono) can be very gratifying and offers a lot of information that is just lost in the 2ch downmix. Joni Mitchel "Both Sides Now" is a good example here, I always found that CD sounds more alive until now.
