I don't know if anyone is still interested, but there has been some progress made in the ability to rip DVD-Audio files to the hard disk (very important if you ever want to play DVD-Audios on your PC music player and you don't have a Creative Audigy).
If you recall, the early version only tricked WinDVD and therefore isn't true ripping.
The new version of DVDA Explorer will actually decode protected files as well as do MLP decoding, which means it is a true ripper.
Note: I have not personally tried this tool yet (just in case any lawyers are reading this post), just reporting on something I came across recently.
