Hey Ted,

Thanks for the reply. Why is it that you say there is little on vinyl that I care about above 48k? You may be right about 192k being overkill, but I was of the opinion that 96k would be able to (perhaps) give you a better resolution than a CD (44.1). I suppose it depends in part upon what your goal is - but if you are trying to best represent a vinly disk in a digital format, then why wouldn't more samples per second create a better approxmation of that sound?
