Or desperate ones, depending on how you look at it, so congratulations on supporting another losing format. The reason that WBHV spews idiotic quotes like that is because they only supported the HD DVD format in the beginning, but were forced to add support for Blu-ray by their parent company -- (AOL) Time Warner -- who, by the way, knew better (look at the number of Warner Bros titles released on both formats and see for yourself which format sold more copies). After CES 2008 (Jan 7 - 10), let me know if you think HD DVD is going to be the winner in this "war".

Universal will cave: there will be no HD DVD exclusive studios; however, the current 5 Blu-ray exclusive studios will still be Blu-ray exclusive. That means after a year and a half, HD DVD will still not have access to Sony, Disney, FOX, MGM or Lionsgate titles, while Blu-ray will have support from all studios.).
