My best friend plays the Viola da Gamba and she is totally deaf in the right ear and wears a hearing aid in the left ear. She has a lot of background noise in the one ear she can bearly hear with but she still loves music very much.
So if a person who could hear at one time would not love music any less because they can no longer hear it. Indeed as I said Beethoven was totally deaf and his ear trumpets no longer worked by the time he wrote is famous Symphony No. 9. If anything music lovers who have went deaf may actually love and appreciate music more than those of us who can hear.
This is totally different than a person who was born deaf and never was exposed to its beauty, and thus does not have the ability to love music.
My quote “My Is Love†is David Crosby’s famous song from his LP “If I could only remember my nameâ€. I can play this on my guitar as well.
"Music is love"
