You said it, not me. What would I have done? I thought that was implicit: stick to the facts, and avoid anything that may be perceived as confrontational, because that doesn't get anyone anywhere. You may have been pure at heart when asking about patent knowledge and studio experience, but it sure didn't read that way, and I doubt I'm the only one who saw fur flying.
As an insert to your interesting comments about studio work and the mastering process, I have many musician friends who spend hours fretting over the technology. I think more often than not, performers do care, but the budget for studio time (as given by the recording company) won't allow much more than exactly the time needed to lay down a track...
Again, Christine, I'm not criticising the "facts" whatever they may be, but the escalating tone, which seemed very unlike you. Happy New Year, and Happy Listening!
