You're flat out wrong about it being "playable on any DVD-Video with a DTS decoder" too, lots of DVD-Video players don't have a DTS decoder and the majority of those that do only support the 48kHz version. Without a DTS decoder and without a DVD-Audio player, all you get is stereo.
FYI you can get all of the above onto a DualDisc with CD compatibility too.
