The LFE mix control on the ICBM gives you adjustability from 0dB to -10dB. For this player, what you need is more like +10-15dB. So regardless of whether you use the player's BM or the ICBM, the low output level on that channel is still something you have to deal with. In fact, if you use the ICBM, the problem is actually more bothersome because you *have* to correct the levels using the player's channel trim controls otherwise the ICBM won't mix the LFE in at the right level. If you use the player's BM, you have other options for matching levels, e.g. adjusting channel trim in your processor/receiver or just setting the level higher at the sub.I used the ICBM because the player's BM isn't very transparent. Basically, I ran all my speakers full range and used the ICBM + sub to fill in the missing bass below their cutoff.
