Cambridge Azur 540D - help needed

How do I play dvd-audio discs with this player? There is either something simple I'm not doing, or I've got a faulty player. I just got it a few days ago. I love its dvd-v performance. No problems. But I've tried 4 different DVD-A discs(that all worked on previous players) and can't get anything. I never get any picture other than the Cambridge logo on screen. The disc loads, but I get no sound and never get the menu. Is their some setting I have to change to play dvd-audio discs?
