Actually, the audio was very good for the buck spent but the video was not acceptable by any means.I tried about 10 DVD titles on my 50" progressive scan Toshiba and could not live with the picture. Blacks were beyond dark and the whites washed out terribly.
Interesting enough, someone else mentioned that about this player also on the audioreview.com. most others only spoke about the audio. He also returned it.
