I hate SATA!!!

Sorry guys, but I have to whine somewhere about this. I have been trying to install a SATA disc for more than a week now, and it drives me NUTS.

I ended up upgrading my OS, losing all previous shortcuts and apps from my W2000 setup, and now it still can't find the bloody Maxtor disc that cost me a fortune. I even forgot why in hell I decided to buy a SATA disc in the first place. I think it was because it allows faster disc access for recording audio or something, now I think it was a big mistake.
Of course Win XP won't allow me to re-install Win 2000, that's just swell

That technology is not ready yet, or Maxtor discs stink (or both)

My advice: Don't buy SATA unless someone installs it for you (and make sure it works before you pay him :), because it's definitely not easy to install.

End of whining

Anyway I think I'll reformat that whole thing.
