front row center gives you a sound stage of direct sound that is about 140-150 degrees in width. You aren't getting that from any stereo recordings and playback.
You most definitely can't hear the specific positioning of most of the musicians from front row center. The only specificity you get in aural imaging from front row center would be from soloists near the front and center.
