Mike, in my experience proofreading, I've found that among the toughest things to focus on are headlines and subheads, which is where the price appeared in this case. I think in focusing on small details, it's easy to miss the big, obvious things. I had to train my eyes to focus on heads and subheads because for some reason, my natural inclination was to skip over them. So I, for one, can understand how you might have missed this price, if that makes any difference! :-)
