Please put your "gotchas" back in your pocket, Mr. Garvey. Michael Fremer
correctly reported in his review that the "vacuum" was equivalent to the
air pressure at a height of 12,000 feet. The "scientifically qualified
reader" knew that was the case because he read it in the review.

And if you read the thread on the Stereophile forum, you will note TARA
Lab's Matthew Bond complaining that Stereophile was not like other audio
magazines that allow companies to quote in an ad from a review in the same
issue. And if you continue to read the thread, you will note that my
insistence of not allowing such quotes led to TARA Labs canceling its
advertising. Unless I missed it, the company hasn't advertised in the 6
years since.

Perhaps you should address your criticisms at the other magazines where
the connection between advertising and editorial is not as clear-cut as
it
is at Stereophile.
