No, I think it is a fair question and you gave a fair answer. I think it's a question that deserves an answer from all other reviewers as well. How do we know someone who reviews equipment isn't hearing impaired? Suppose someone who bragged that he was often on stage at performances where the sound was often 130 db isn't the one doing the reviewing? Or the designing? Can we expect a reliable assessment of audio equipment performance from someone who has abused his hearing like that? I don't know why such a person would bother to install a tweeter at all. At most it would probably be an irritation to him if he could even hear it.
