IMHO, the promise of Class D should be quality sound at reduced prices. There should be no need for $10K - $15k Class D amps. But so long as manufacturers can stuff OEM modules into pretty megabuck chassis work and audiophiles are willing to pay, well more power to 'em I guess. But they won't be getting my money!
