... I do love the concept of "flagrant audibility." :-)Since I don't remember my woofers ever flapping and I didn't detect any rumble (even years ago when both my ears worked properly), I think I'll have to stand by what I said.
EDIT: My current (since 2007) highly modified Lenco is quiet as a tomb at any speed from 33 1/3 to 78 rpm. Idler-drive turntables are supposedly subject to rumble, but mine sure isn't.
