RE: Measurements vs. Reviewers

When measurements don't correlate with what the reviewers hear the possibilities are;

The person doing the measuring is measuring the wrong thing. Hardly surprising since much of importance isn't measured

The reviewer is tone deaf. No problem there, I think most of them are. They can't even tell the difference between real music and a bloody hi fi set. In fact not even when others can like say a live versus a recorded demo of a Steinway D grand piano and a recording of it played through Vivid speakers standing right next to each other.

Both of the above. Be a critic of the critics. After all there isn't even a license or any test required to publish an opinion in a magazine including an ezine. Read and believe at your own peril.
