Do some "bad" measurements consistently sound good?

Around 5% second harmonic distortion in an SET amp? Rolled-off upper treble in a CD source (Sony Playstation)? BBC dip in nearfield monitor speakers? High-Q bass boost just above rolloff in any small monitor speaker? Acoustic feedback plus groove noise in ANY turntable? (S'phile most diplomatically refuses to even TRY to measure that last one).
