Art Dudley's Listening column has vexed me on occasion and I've railed against him here. But, in reading many of those pieces I've begun to realize we have a lot in common - we've both owned an LP12 and original Quad ESL, enjoy the band XTC and sold our prog rock albums when new wave came along to later regret. In his latest column now I find out that Art has visited my home town of Swindon in the UK, even though he only stayed one day (entirely forgivable).
Maybe we should meet, except that he lives on the other side of the country (and in an earlier decade)?
