All designs involve compromises

And in a BIG speaker like the Tekton, which apparently does many things right at a reasonable price point, cabinet resonances are likely to be among them. The addition of sufficient bracing and damping to quell those resonances would add substantial cost and weight to a speaker that size. Neither HR nor JA noted any significant audible colorations or distortions resulting from the panel resonances, so they may not be that big an issue.
