I'm a house painter and finding a wall stud to drill a secure attachment requires a knuckle test...you rap your nuckles lightly against the drywall using your ear and sence of feeling. When you get to a stud you feel a stronger density.Thats were you secure a fastener,like a screw. Rigid cabinets or non...the Quest continues.....Mark Korda
