RE: HIFI+ is one beautiful magazine

I'm sorry but NONE of the contributors to HiFi+ - or ANY British hi-fi magazine, for that matter - can write anywhere nearly as well, or as wittily, as someone like Art Dudley, or even the much-lampooned Sam Tellig. Their love of music and passion for the hobby is palpable in their writing and they convey a soulfulness which is nowhere to be found in the unimaginative, matter-of-fact reviews churned out by the UK hi-fi hacks.

Given the utterly anodyne journalism offered up in the pages of the British audio press, the constant carping on this forum about Stereophile never ceases to amaze me - you guys don't realise how lucky you are!

(I am British and reside in the UK.)
