Preposterously deluded, and self-important to boot. The idea that I would have any reason to suck up to Tom is insane.

That guy was trouble on Stereophile's own Forums too--and IIRC he was a bad guest in JA's house (metaphorically speaking) when, in a Stereophile forum, he assailed JA based on his age alone and not referencing any particular piece of JA's writing, it was as though JA's mere existence (or perhaps accomplishments) made that miserable person more miserable.

It seems that the AA moderators made a prudent decision by letting both posts stand, while closing the sub-thread.

Furthermore, SOCIAL RETARDATION IS NOT MENTAL RETARDATION. It is very simply not knowing how to behave, which that guy manifested in spades.
