I must say that I have not heard the deficiencies that the reviewer has. In reading the setup guide it suggests 60-80 hours of use for burn-in. Since I bought these used, this was not a problem, however nothing was mentioned in the review about this. I have mine on 19" sand filled, metal stands and the angled corners are 1/4" from the wall, 22.5 degrees toe-in, however I found that the sweet spot, in my 12 1/2' L x 10' w x 7 3/4' tall room was further back that the 1:1.18 ratio suggests. The speakers are placed on the long wall. I find the speakers revealing, smooth with very good midrange, bass and fun to listen to, especially for a speaker of this size. See the guide below for other setup tweeks. The wall panels have been removed since the photo.
