I suspect the manufacturer assumed there would be a 'change' in the review process, un-paid vs. paid, and correctly so.
For good or ill from a consumer point of view, reviews on 6 Moons will be viewed differently under the new terms and conditions.
Even if the manufacturer agreed to provide the goods before the change policy, consumers might be confused as to exactly what terms the review was conducted under. Old terms or new? Is it a good review because the manufacturer paid? Did they pay? Would the review clarify that they DIDN'T pay to be reviewed while others now are required to pay? Would the manufacturer have even AGREED to pay for a review had 6 Moons changed the deal after the review was schedule? Will the manufacturer pay for reviews in the future?
Yeah, kinda big deal, and a confusing one at that.
First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass
