RE: August Stereophile Amplifier Measurements - an observation, or two.

"Turning to the measurements of the - we see a different intermodulation plot. This design is fully balanced so we should expect to see predominantly odd-order harmonics."

That's been egging at me. Is it true that fully balanced design gives predominantly odd-order harmonics?

If so wouldn't they have a natural sonic disadvantage as apparently we love 2nd and even order harmonics.

I've enjoyed some [fully] tube balanced pres that sound great.
